For this project I used New York City as my theme. My parents surprised my sister and I with a trip to New York over spring break. Our hotel was right in the middle of Times Square so we were always entertained.  We were only there for four ways but they were jam packed with fun things to do. Our flight landed around 7pm New York time, but instead of having dinner we went straight to dessert. The next day we walked around and just admired the city, we stopped into a lot of the stores! I had such a fun time looking through all of the stores. They have a lot of the same stores that we have nearby but the stores in New York are so much bigger. The second day was my favorite day, the day I saw Wicked! We went to go see the show around noon, but I woke up so early because I was too excited! When we finally got to the show my parents told us that we were in the very front row. I had never seen a broadway show before, I want to see so many more.

The next two days we walked around some more. Even though we were kind of in the same area we saw a lot of things that we hadn't seen on the first day. These days are where most of my pictures in the project come from. We went to the top of the empire state building and the top of the rock. It was so cool to see the whole city from so high in the air. The city is amazing just walking around but its even prettier looking at it from up top. I also went to Central Park on the last day. It was kind of weird seeing an area of New York that had grass and trees. Most of New York was a lot of people and crazy drivers. It was really nice going to central park because there were less people and you could sit down and admire a different part of the city. On the last day we also went to the 9/11 memorial. It was an amazing experience to see everything. I didn't take many pictures in there because I was trying to take it all in. In a lot of parts they wouldn't even let you have your phone or cameras. I did get a picture outside of the memorial.

The picture farthest to the left I got on the first day, it is a picture of a really pretty tech I saw. The picture next to that is also from the first day, its the very first picture I took in New York. its just a random building but I thought that it captured New York really well. The picture in the middle is in the middle of time square (my favorite area)! The picture of the building next to that I took on top of the Empire State building, not bat the very top but one of the many floors. The picture closest to the right I took outside of the 9/11 memorial. I also added pictures I took like the broadway street sign, the time square subway sign, and the globe sculpture. I put the five main pictures side by side and used the clone stamp tool to add on parts of the building onto the next picture. after that I added in the tiny pictures and put them wherever I had room. I added blending modes and the opacity of many pictures. I also added a blue and green tint to the overall picture.

Self performance review Project 1 For one of my projects we were assigned to take ten pictures and then put then together to create a panorama. I chose to use pictures that I took of New York over spring break. The project took around a week to complete. I faced a few challenges with my design. It was hard to find somewhere to start because I had a lot goin on in my pictures. I found that the pictures I chose had a lot of buildings so I had to include some other pictures I took from the vacation so I would have a variety of pictures in my panorama. How to create and print a document

For this assignment we had to make a video about how to create and print a document in thirty seconds. We had two parts to this project. Part A was making a story board including sketches of where the scene would take place and what kind of shot we would be filming in. After we got that approved we took the I pad and took pictures using the main points that we had down on our storyboard. After those pictures were taken we made a google slides showing the pictures we took. We also had to list what type of shot it was and what the actor was doing in the shot. Part B was actually making the video.We used every spot that we had pictures of on our story board and google docs except made those shots into a video. So we had to show more of the transitioning which was mostly walking inbetween our shots. After filming day we uploaded our videos to the computers. We used Adobe premiere pro to put the videos together. We had to do a lot of trimming and adjusting the videos to get it thirty seco...

final blog

graphic design final reflection blog One of my favorite parts about graphic design was making the vector illustrator portrait. For this project we had to choose an image of ourselves, a family member, or a family pet. We then had to choose if we wanted to do an organic vector which is tracing the facial features on the objects face or a low poly geometric vector which is when you make lots of different and tiny triable on the subject. I chose to do the low poly geometric because I felt it would look better on my dog. It took me around two weeks to complete this project. I was gone towards the end of the first week, if I wasn't gone I most likely would have finished the project sooner. I faced a few challenges along the way. At the very beginning of the project I didn't know how big to make the triangles. I decided to do small triangles on my dogs features and bigger triangles on my dogs body.
