How to create and print a document

For this assignment we had to make a video about how to create and print a document in thirty seconds. We had two parts to this project. Part A was making a story board including sketches of where the scene would take place and what kind of shot we would be filming in. After we got that approved we took the I pad and took pictures using the main points that we had down on our storyboard. After those pictures were taken we made a google slides showing the pictures we took. We also had to list what type of shot it was and what the actor was doing in the shot. Part B was actually making the video. We used every spot that we had pictures of on our story board and google docs except made those shots into a video. So we had to show more of the transitioning which was mostly walking inbetween our shots. After filming day we uploaded our videos to the computers. We used Adobe premiere pro to put the videos together. We had to do a lot of trimming and adjusting the videos to get it thirty seconds but still having enough of each clip to understand the process and get the message through. After that we added audio to the video to make it a little more fun! Then we uploaded the videos to YouTube and showed the class, we got some feed back and had the chance to re edit and make changes to our videos.

The big decisions of the project were split between me and my partner Kaitlyn. When we were creating the story board we would alternate turns creating where the shot would occur and what time of shot we would take. We made sure that we both got a say in the project and it wasn't just one person doing everything. Then we couldn't decide who would film and who would be the actor...so we just flipped a coin! I ended up being the actor, it was really fun! I learned that I had to "finish my scenes" which to me means that I had to make sure I finished the action then stop, and not just stop while my partner was still filming and ruin the scene. That way we didn't have to keep shooting the scene over and over again! We used technical skills by learning how to use the computer and using adobe premire pro on the computer. We used communication by letting each other know what we thought would look good or maybe saying that we wanted to try something different. We used leadership by taking over our role and really doing it great. We used collaboration by sharing ideas we wanted for the project. And we used project management by taking our time but not messing around while doing our project.

If I were to do this project again I would want to film instead of act. Because I feel like I would have learned more about using the camera and filming which is what I want to do. Even though I got to take pictures for the google docs I didn't get the chance to film. Acting in the video was fun, but I would want to video too! I really liked the story board that me and Kaitlyn created! I thought it got the message across without having too much information. So if I were to do this project again I would keep my story board the same. I did learn a lot about the acting portion so I will use everything I learned from that and use it on future projects. I will also use my knowledge of using adobe premiere pro into future projects as well. This project was really fun! Especially because it was our first project in video it was so different. I thought coming in to this class that we were going to have lots of instructions to follow step by step. Which for somethings it's true, but for making the video you really get to create whatever you want! I'm really excited to do all of our upcoming video projects!

ball animations

The project  We did three animations with a bouncing ball. For all of the animations we used photoshop. For the first animation we made grass using a grass tool and made different variations of the grass to make it look realistic. Next we used the circle tool to make a ball. Then we created a time line, which is how you make the ball move. You have to make multiple slides, on each slide you move the ball farther and farther. In the first one the ball was going up in down so I made the ball go from the top of the screen to the bottom. Then to make it bounce up I had to add more slides and fix the transparency. For the second one we had to make the ball bounce in an arc two times. I did the same thing as before with the grass, and with the slides except instead of going down and up the ball went in an arc. For the third one we could do whatever we want so like the second one I had my ball bounce twice then I had it go in a loop for the last part, I did that by adding more slides. ...

Making your own website

The Project This past week in e-Comm we had to make our own website. We used the program dreamweaver while doing this project. To get through the project we watched videos on google classroom that mr. Olsen had made. For our website we had a home page, a project page, and we had to include a side bar with links to the school, e-Comm, and our blog page. For the home page we made an elevator pitch , which is basically just talking about our best qualities. For our project t page we had to put some of our projects we have done in e-Comm so far. I chose two projects from graphic design and another two from animation. We also had to include the blog posts that went along with these four projects.  What I learned I learned a lot while doing this project. We learned how to use a new program dreamweaver, all of the different tools and their functions. There were a lot of pieaces that went along with dreamweaver, compared to photoshop and other programs we have used in the past...
