ball animations

The project  We did three animations with a bouncing ball. For all of the animations we used photoshop. For the first animation we made grass using a grass tool and made different variations of the grass to make it look realistic. Next we used the circle tool to make a ball. Then we created a time line, which is how you make the ball move. You have to make multiple slides, on each slide you move the ball farther and farther. In the first one the ball was going up in down so I made the ball go from the top of the screen to the bottom. Then to make it bounce up I had to add more slides and fix the transparency. For the second one we had to make the ball bounce in an arc two times. I did the same thing as before with the grass, and with the slides except instead of going down and up the ball went in an arc. For the third one we could do whatever we want so like the second one I had my ball bounce twice then I had it go in a loop for the last part, I did that by adding more slides. ...

10 words that describe me

This project Last week in ecomm we learned how to use photoshop. Last quarter we picked ten words to describe ourselves. Then we put those words into photoshop and put the words in a certain format. After that we could change the color or font of the words. So I kept all my words the same font and changed the color of each word. I did that so my screen wouldn't look too busy. After that we had to take the words off the screen and decide when we wanted each word to appear on the screen. I took whatever word I wanted and took it off the screen on the opposite side it was placed. That way the word would take longer to get to its spot. After that I saved my project and it was done! What I learned During this project I learned how to use photoshop. The biggest thing I learned is how to animate. Ive never really tried doing anything like it before so it was really fun. I learned how to make different words come together and go into a formation. How it went This project was dif...

typography anatomy

Typography project   The project We did this project so we could learn about different fonts and how there are heights for certain parts of the letters. Also that parts of the letters are called something specific, they don't just have the basic shape that you think they would have. We also learned how to make dashed lines and arrows on illustrator so that you could really see what part was where. What we learned We learned a lot during this project, most of it I stated in the paragraph above. But these specific things I really had to focus on because they were things that were apart of my name. These things are a bowl, crossbar, aperture, descender, shoulder, diagonal stroke, counter, finial, stem, and a serif. These were all things used to identify parts of my letters when using this font. We also learned about  the sizing of letters like uppercase, x height, and the base line. Those are three heights that my letters hit. How was the project  The project ove...

First we learned about all different kinds of color schemes that I didn't even know existed. Like complementary, primary, secondary, triad, analogous and split complementary. We learned how to use adobe illustrator.  There is a tool bar on the side that we had to use. There were lots of different tools that did really cool things to our project. We also learned how to do the basics like how to create a new file and save the file. How was the project The project was really fun to do. At first when I was using illustrator it was hard because you had to change certain things on the ...

Maddy Samuelson Sidewalk chalk

On the first day we got our teams and started thinking of ideas that we could draw that would symbolize each one of us. But the symbols had to sort of have the same theme throughout the drawing. So we each came up with four ideas that we could use. Some were similar and some not at all. For my symbols I chose a red rose which means promise, a sun which I think means happy, a tree for nature, hearts for love, and an American flag for USA. To be similar we all tried to do nature related things but like I said before some were a little off topic. On day two our groups started sketching the things we wanted to draw on paper. Some things that people chose they didn't like anymore so they changes some symbols. What I did is I had a few symbols from the day before and I added some so that I could fill all of my space up. I We also had to decide how we were going to draw all of our symbols on the ground. We wanted to be able to tell that we all had different ideas so we divided our sq...
